The love for crafting imaginative, practical, and enduring handmade goods began in the 1970s, sparked by a T-shirt painting party with my mother at a neighbor’s home. That moment ignited a lifelong passion, leading me to explore and master crocheting, sewing, embroidery, painting, paper making, resin art, digital design, and 3D modeling and printing—each skill a reflection of my dedication to craftsmanship.
After retiring from a corporate IT career as a Technology Product Manager for a leading financial firm, I took that same attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to excellence and channeled it into my handmade creations. My background in technology instilled in me an appreciation for precision, quality control, and strategic development—values that now shape every soap, ensuring consistency, reliability, and ethically made products.

During the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, I finally embraced Cold Process Soap making, a craft I had long admired but hesitated to try. At a time when cleanliness was paramount, the ability to create consumable, earth-friendly soap became deeply meaningful.
My ingredients and packaging are always selected with environmental impact in mind. Even the glitter used in my designs is either compostable or biodegradable, ensuring alignment with my eco-friendly values. All of my soaps are vegan and cruelty-free, embracing both artistry and ethical responsibility.
Every handcrafted piece represents dedication, creativity, and care—a lifelong commitment to bringing unique, sustainable products to those who appreciate craftsmanship with purpose.

How it’s Made
Crafting the "Flamingo in Paradise" soap is a labor of love and ingenuity, combining artisanal craftsmanship with innovative design techniques that truly set it apart from mass-manufactured alternatives.
Materials Used: This luxurious soap is made with high-quality, skin-loving ingredients, including olive oil, coconut oil, and castor oil, which provide gentle cleansing and nourishment. Water and sodium hydroxide (lye) are used in the soap-making process, while fragrance oil infuses the bar with the refreshing Polynesian Hibiscus and Island Margarita scent. Additional ingredients include sodium lactate for hardness, titanium dioxide for a creamy base, and vibrant mica pigments for color. Importantly, the soap is vegan, palm-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free, detergent-free, and SLS-free, ensuring it aligns with eco-conscious values.
The Creation Process:
Designing the Flamingo and Bird Shape: The process begins with 3D modeling and printing custom dies for the shapes. Both the dies and the extruder used are designed and produced in-house using a 3D printer, reflecting a commitment to both creativity and innovation.
Making the Soap Dough: Soap dough is crafted in individual colors using lye, water, oils, and mica pigments. After mixing, the dough is left to set overnight to achieve the perfect pliable texture.
Shaping the Embeds: Once the dough is ready, each color is extruded through the corresponding die, forming intricate shapes that are then carefully assembled into a column. This step is meticulous and time-intensive, taking approximately 16 hours to create two loaves of soap.
Final Soap Production: The main soap batch is prepared by blending lye, water, oils, pigments, and fragrance oil. The pelican-shaped embeds are placed into the soap batter, and the loaves are poured and set to create the finished product.
The result is a stunning soap bar that combines artistic skill, attention to detail, and sustainable practices, making it a true masterpiece in the world of handmade soaps.
